Sunday on the porch doesn’t check the time. This is lavender done properly — soft, herbal, unhurried, nothing perfumey pretending — over a milk lather soft enough to slow you down a notch. The unofficial house favorite for winding down, and the bar we hand people who say they “don’t like scented soap.” They like this one.

Smells like: True lavender, clean linen, still air.
Feels like: An afternoon with nowhere to be.

Milk, not water. A lot of goat milk soap starts with water and a scoop of powdered milk. Ours never does — fresh Georgia goat milk is the liquid in every batch. That’s the whole secret, and we’ll say it plainly.

How to use: Lather, rinse, repeat. Keep it on a draining dish between showers — a dry bar is a long-lived bar.
