FAQ
Is it really made on Isle of Hope?
Yes — poured, cut, and cured on the island, by our family. No, the goats don’t live in the house. (Mostly.)
What does “milk, not water” mean?
A lot of goat milk soap starts with water and a scoop of powdered milk. Ours never does — fresh Georgia goat milk is the liquid in every batch. The full story is here.
Why is my favorite bar sold out?
Small batches, honest cure time. Every batch spends weeks on the rack before it’s ready, and we won’t rush that. Tap the notify button on any sold-out bar and you’ll hear the moment it’s back.
Which bar is right for sensitive skin?
Start with Just Milk — no fragrance, no color, no essential oils, and the reason this company exists. Our scented bars use essential oils, and many customers with particular skin do fine with the gentler ones. Every ingredient is listed on every product page.
How do I make a bar last?
Keep it on a draining soap dish between showers — a dry bar is a long-lived bar. Treated kindly, a bar lasts weeks of daily use.
Do you ship nationwide?
We do — every order ships from Savannah, GA. If anything arrives wrong, write to us and we’ll make it right; that’s just how the porch works.
Can my shop carry Isle of Hope soap?
We keep a deliberately short list of shops that carry our bars — a handful in Savannah and a few beyond. If you think yours belongs on it, we’d be honored to hear from you through the contact page.
